Band celebrates highly constructive year Having their awards banquet at the Ramada Inn in Norman, the Lion Band recognized the efforts of its members and director. Rob Cason, director, took a dwindling number of band students and injected new life and enthusiasm. New interest resulted in more participation and pride, and various students were awarded summer band camp scholarships — Joe Shirk, Gary Grimley, Mike Elledge, Jason Dedmon, Seana Warren, Christy Green, and Chris Lester.
