FHA-’85 - Havin’ a li’l round-up f g ather 'round the Cj chow line and dig right in.” That’s what FHA members and their guests did at the annual FHA banquet held in the school cafetorium. Varying from the usual dressup theme, the members opted for a western-style banquet with barbecue and all the trimmings. BHS grad and former mayor Ronnie Eisen-hour was the featured speaker, and entertainment was provided by the Herron Bros. band. Band celebrates highly constructive year Having their awards banquet at the Ramada Inn in Norman, the Lion Band recognized the efforts of its members and director. Rob Cason, director, took a dwindling number of band students and injected new life and enthusiasm. New interest resulted in more participation and pride, and various students were awarded summer band camp scholarships — Joe Shirk, Gary Grimley, Mike Elledge, Jason Dedmon, Seana Warren, Christy Green, and Chris Lester.
