While Junior High Pep Club Supervised A girl with spirit. A girl with determination. A girl with initiative. These are the types of girls that are members of the Blanchard Junior High Pep Club. The club is open to all girls; however, only the girls that can endure everything from mosquito bites to freezing rain can still come up bubbling with school spirit will make good members. This year the girls had colorful new uniforms, and their enthusiasm added much to the teams success. Because she has school spirit that's why! All of this adds up to be a Blanchard High School PEP CLUB member. The girls also worked constantly at concession stands and sold ribbons and homecoming mums. The high point of their year is the All-Sports Banquet held in honor of the Athletes of Blanchard High School. BOY'S QUARTET: R. Cooley, E. Sherrill, T. Matheson, R. Carendar. CHORUS began the school year on a new note with new uniforms and exuberating ideas. Entertainment became the chief objective of the music department as they performed at the O.E.A. Teachers meeting in Purcell, Oklahoma. Of course, with determination in mind, they attended the Music Festival at O.S.U., Central State Festival, District Contest and State Contest.
