BLANCHARD HIGH SCHOOL Blanchard, Oklahoma Dedication The 1974 Annual staff is proud to dedicate this years LION to Mrs. Pat Harris and Mr. Roy C. Wheeler. Both of these people have given much time and effort to the betterment of the Blanchard School System. Pat Harris is always pleasant and willing to help everyone. She cheerfully handles all jobs from official school correspondence to the sale of pencils. With her knowledge, patience, and attention to details, Pat Harris, Blanchard's school secretary keeps the school running smoothly. If anyone has a question, the most often heard answer is, Go ask Pat. Mr. Wheeler's good sense of humor and his willingness to listen to student problems and excuses have won him a place in our hearts. Roy C. Wheeler has been the Junior High Principal and science teacher for Blanchard schools for many years. Students have a high regard for his knowledge of science and his ability to communicate it. The 1974 LION is dedicated to these two people because of their endless interest in the students of the Blanchard Schools. We feel that these people are truly two to be admired. 2 A special thanks for artwork provided by Mr. Reed and the art class. Photography provided by Mr. Dean Reed and Mr. Clifton Foote. As we heard the strains of Pomp and Circumstance we realized through misty eyes that it was finally over. Memories of the previous 12 years ran through our mind. We rode donkeys, sponsored a carnival, sold a calf, and made chili just to go on a Senior trip but it was worth it. We have many things to remember and we are looking forward to making our mark and our place in th big, lovely, and wonderful world. 53 SKIP CANNON Sergeant-at-Arms of Junior Class; Lettermen's Club RICHARD E.
