Junior Officers Carl Aldridge Dean Clanton Kitty Smith Pres. V. -Pres. Sec. The Junior class worked hard this year to make the year a successful one. We elected our officers at the first of the year. Later on, we elected our royalty--Kitty Smith, football queen attendant; Jane Ellen Shelton and Donna Stacy, annual queen candidates; Nedra Swinney was FFA Sweetheart. Jane Ellen Shelton was selected as Annual Queen Princess in the Queen contest. Music groups were filled with members of the Junior class. Jane Ellen Shelton and Nedra Swinney were accompanists and Nancy Worthington, Cleeda White, Donna Stacy, Kay Chapman, Leeanna Nance, Nedra Swinney, and Jane Ellen Shelton sang in the Triple Trios. The Junior play was a success and Mrs. Richey and play cast were well rewarded by their efforts--everyone was delighted with Down to Earth”. FFA and FHA had many Junior class representatives. Athletic Juniors were much in demand. Football players were: Carl Adlridge, Gary Whitford, Dean Clanton, Ronnie Killmer, Ronnie Morton, Robert Bowser, Alvin Reeves, Terry Foster. Basketball team members were Ronnie Killmer, Robert Bowser, Linda Lane, Jane Ellen Shelton, Linda Whinery, and Nancy Worthington. Baseball players Robert Bowser, Tommy Shepherd, and Gary Whitford made us all proud, too. We feel that we had a good year and we would like to thank Mrs. Richey and Mr. Northington for making it that way.
