SPONSOR - Pat Bard CLASS OFFICERS--Eddie Hoisted, President; Joe Lewis, Vice-President; Syvilla Steele, Secretary-Treasurer; George Davis, Reporter; Sonny Jennings, Sergeant-at-Arms. At the beginning of the year we elected Eddid Holstad, President; Joe Lewis, Vice-President; Syvilla Steele, Secretary-Treasurer; George Davis, Reporter; and Sonny Jennings, Sergeant-at-Arms. We were well represented in various sports this year. Eleven of the Junior boys went out for football, and four of them made the main string. Five boys also went out for basketball. The girls were in the sports picture too. Nine girls went out for basketball and three of them made the main string. The girls were also active in volleyball. Judy Patterson and Patricia Simer were elected cheerleaders. The girls were in F. H. A. and two girls from our class were officers. George Davis was chosen F. II. A. Beau. Our boys were very active in F. F. A. George Davis was President. Several of the boys won ribbons at the County Stock Show. Some of the boys attended the State Stock Show, too. Judy Patterson was chosen F. F. A. Sweetheart and Rodeo Queen. We won first place with our float. It was a big red steer depicting the television show Rawhide . Our football queen candidate was Patricia Simer. We were very happy to have the Football Queen, Judy Patterson, chosen from the Junior class. At the Awards Assembly our class was well represented. George Davis received the Chapter Star Farmer Award. Judy Patterson won the Social Studies Award, Scholarship Award, and the Librarian Award. Judy Patterson was choosen Annual Queen and Karen Knipplemier was chosen annual queen candidate. This year has really been fun. One of the highlights was our play Hobgoblin House. The theme of the Junior-Senior Banquet this year was Oriental Gardens . We all thought the cafeteria looked beautiful decorated with Chinese lanterns, wind chimes, red and white, crepe paper, and gray brick wall. The Juniors would like to thank the Suzie Wong girls who served for the Banquet. Thank you Mrs. Bard. Mrs. Williams, and Miss Hall for being wonderful sponsors this year !! !
