OFFICERS: Burris, Stacy, Burris, Wilson, SPONSOR-Roy Wheeler 0,, c Swanson, Wilmeth, Snow. We the Freshman Class of 60-61 started the year off by electing the following officers: President Jen Burris, Vice-President Jim Snow, Secretary Judy Burris, Treasurer Carol Stacy, Reporter Karen Wilmeth, Song Leader Carlotta Swanson, and Sergeant-at-arms Frank Wilson. We've had fun this year doing things,-some a little bit better than the high school and---uh —some not quite as good. We're pretty proud of our Freshman classmates. Of our girls, Judy Burris was elected Annual Queen, Jennifer Burris Freshman Annual Candidate, and Carlotta Swanson was elected Melody Maid in the Junior High Chorus. Patricia Shatwell was our Freshman Football Candidate. Six of our girls played on Junior High girls basketball teams. Five of our Freshman girls were in the Junior High Triple Trio, which received a rating of superior at the district contest. Our boys have had their share of the spotlight too. The Junior High Football team made up mostly by Freshman boys, they had a good year. Some of the Freshman boys also went out for high school Football. They also played a great deal on the Junior High boys Basketball team. All in all, we feel we have had a good first year in High School.
