CLASS OFFICERS Barbara Young, reporter; Lorene Dean, vie president, Larry Oglesby, president, Mar Crowley, secretary-treasurer. We, the Freshman Class of 1958-59, started the year by electing our class officer as follows: president, Larry Oglesby; vice-president, Lorene Dean; secretary treasurer, Marie Crowley; and reporter, Barbara Young. We elected Miss Betty J Binyon as our class sponsor. We were well represented in sports. There were eleven boys who participated in football and ten in basketball. Fourteen girls participated In athletics, with Jud Taylor and Paula Shelton being chosen as co-captains of the Junior High Girls Basket ball Team. Our class also participated in other activities. There were seven boys in FFA art a large percentage of the girls were in FHA. Six members of our class were chosen for the Junior High Honor Society. Paulf Shelton received the Freshman Scholarship Award. We thank Miss Binyon, our sponsor, for her able guidance throughout this, our firs year in high school.
