FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS, LEFT TO RIGHT; Danny Clanton, Sergeant-at-Arms; Carolyn May-field, Vice-President; Brenda Ferguson, Secretary-Treasurer; Connell Coggins, President. The Freshman Class of 1957 and 1958 have enjoyed the first year of high school and are looking forward to the next three years. The Junior High Football team was almost entirely composed of Freshman boys. We were well represented in basketball and one of our boys, Danny Clanton, made the high school team. Seven members of the Freshman class were also members of the Honor Society. Carolyn Mayfield received the Scholarship award. We were represented on the Annual Staff by Brenda Ferguson and Nancy Periman. Our only regret was that Sam Davis left us before the school year was over. We hope he will be back next year. Sam was outstanding in F.F.A. Paul Morton was also an outstanding F.F.A. student. We thank Mr. Inkster, our sponsor, for helping us in the queen races. 22
