SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS, LEFT TO RIGHT: Frank Peri- ilian. Treasurer, Judy Swanson, President; George Vilson, Reporter. We, the Senior Class of 1958, can truly say that we have enjoyed our last year in High School immensly. We have formed many lasting friendships which will ever be ours to cherish in years to come. At the beginning of the year, we elected t;hese officers: Judy Swanson, President; Don McCraw, Vice-president; Ellen Williams, Sectetary; Frank Periman, Treasurer; George Wilson, Reporter; and Freddie Rich, Sergeant at Arms. Of the Seven boys who went out for football, seven made the first string. Also, Tommy Morton made all-district half-back and Monty Brooks was all-district quarter-back. Our boys were also active in Shop and F.F.A. Two Senior girls were cheerleaders: Judy Swanson and Rosemary Oglesby. Four girls went out for basketba I hand-two made the mein string. Anna Rose Soward, a Senior, was crowned by Don McCraw as Football Queen of 1958 during half time of the Blanchard-Maud game. Andra Terrell will appear in these pages as Annual Queen of 1958. Judy Van Wie was Alumni Queen. Awards were given to Ellen Williams, Valedictorian, English, Biology, Typing, Scholarship, Library, and Mathematics; Andra Terrell, Salutatorian, Music, All-around girl. Mathematics, Typing, and Speech; Judy Swanson, Commerce; Tommy Morton, Boy athlete; and Charles Lowry, Service and De Kalb. Anna Rose Soward, Andra Terrell, Ellen Williams, and Judy Swanson were on the Honor Roll. On May 16, the Seniors were guests of honor at a Pow-Wow theme Junior-Senior Banquet. To climax the years activities, the Seniors made their trip by chartered bus to Rock-away Beach Missouri. We would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Micheal Dwyer for their excellent leadership as our sponsors. 8
