SENIOR ACTIVITIES The Senior Class of 1950 wish to say we have had a successful year in all our activities. Our activities have consisted of one Senior play The Tangled Yarn ; Hobo Day, and a wonderful trip. We wish to thank our Sponsor, Mr. Terrell, and Mrs. Terrell for helping us have such a pleasant trip. Our class has participated whole-heartedly in the activities of the year. Carolyn Ellerd, and Maxine Brooks, Joy Marie Day, Pauline Ward, Martha Gray, Lucerne Johnson, and Betty Winnard have been in the Glee Club. C aroly n Ellerd was also in the Quartette. Three of the Senior girls were members of the Pep Club. Maxine Brooks was President and cheerleader, Oscar, Raymond, Dalton, Jerry, Don, Ray Wilbanks, Ray and Norvel have starred in one or more of the major sports this year. Maxine Brooks and Wanda Phillips were on the basketball team. We have one member on the Honor Roll, Jerry Hale, who had been on it for the past four years. He is also our V aledictorian. Lucerne Johnson is our Salutatorian. We have enjoyed every minute of our last year in school. Although we are reluctant to leave our high school companions,we know that it is now time for us to m ake our advent into the world but the memories of the four years w e spent in high school will lin- ger pleasantly with us.
