The Freshman Class, under the guidance of Miss Ardath Champlin, sponsor, and Miss Olive Su Davidson, homeroom teacher, has completed its first year in the Blanchard High School. We feel that we have had a successful year, and that we have learned something about general school life. We enjoyed our freshman party which Miss Champlin supervised. Lucretia Lee and Carol Smith were our candidates for queens this year. Though we did not get either of them elected, we enjoyed participation in the contests. Several of our classmates have achieved outstanding success this school year. Jerry Hale is our only classman to be on the honor roll. Roll on Jerry. Perhaps some others will join you in the sophomore year. We think our class officers are to be commended for their efficient service. They are: Norvel Joe Moore, president, Jorry Hale, vice-president; and Carolyn Ellcrd, secretary. We think one of our outstanding achievements ? as the defeat of Dibble by the Junior High Team, which was composed entirely of freshmen. Next year, when we have become sophomores,we expect to carry a greater load of the high school activities, and we are sure, nany of us will achieve greater success.
