In Heaven With ’87 Seniors Unite at Camp Warren This year’s Senior Weekend started with high expectations as everyone anticipated an awesome weekend of fun and good friendship. As the sleepy seniors boarded the buses headed for Camp Warren at 7:00 a.m. no one knew exactly what to expect during the excursion. Senior class president Jay Pearson paired people off in two dyad” sessions over the weekend and everyone was enthusiastic about a chance to have a one-on-one talk with someone in their class who they’d never had a chance to get to know. The seniors took part in many fun activities such as the Olympics, a bonfire, and an incredible square dance. In their time, the Seniors took part in swimming, canoeing, horseback riding and an infamous shaving cream fight. The most important part of the weekend was the combined effort of the class to set their goals and expectations for the year. Inspiring speeches given by Mr. Stander and Mr. Danielson along with good support from all of the teachers helped round out a successful and positive weekend. The senior class left Camp Warren more united and with some specific goals for the coming year in mind. 1) Casualties of the midnight Rambo raid pose for picture. 2) Wendy and Tora ponder the meaning of life. 3) Dean and Georgie are intrigued by nature while canoeing. 4) Benji and Jessica demonstrate winning form In the life-saver pass. 5) Dan shows his manliness by eating a raw egg. 6) Bill shows his expertise in canoeing. 7) Sara Strand explores the area via horseback. 8) Senior girls find themselves at home in the corn field. 10 Senior Weekend
