Philosophy Club International Cl. The Philisophy Club was one of several new organizations which entered the extracurricular world of Blake this year. Led by president Dale Warner and Faculty Advisor. Mr. Lee Wool-man. the club's major purpose this year was to give students a chance to meet outside of the school day and discuss topics of interest such as Hailey’s Comet and the concepts of Hedonism. Their schedule was highlighted by the arrival of a speaker who specialized in dream research and the most recent findings and beliefs behind the possible meanings of our dreams. The club looks forward to next year in hopes of expanding the program and increasing the number of members. President: D Warner and his group of thoughtful ones. The International Club's purpose is to inform the Blake community about foreign cultures. It does this by helping various ethnic groups in the Twin Cities, sponsoring culture related activities. and bringing speakers into the school. The 1985-86 International Club, with president Amy Bergquist. vice-president Missy Randall, faculty advisor Nelly Hewett, ran a successful clothing drive for Hmong refugees in the Twin Cities.
