The nostalgia mixed in with the new A combination of boys and girls, men and women, together in a situation most of us have probably never experienced before, total co education. The first year of the Blake Schools has opened doors for everyone concerned New and exciting areas of life, both the social and academic aspects, have become consolidated into a co educational environment, and everything is running smoothly. Old Cyrus at the Upper Campus has never seen the life around the fireplace he watches over: boys and girls together, sharing their thoughts, their secrets, their futures. There are occasional slips of the tongue concerning what school Northrop, I mean Blake. I mean Highcroft you get the picture? “Remember last year when Our identification with the past blends in with our identification with the present. The old traditions which made Blake. Northrop, and Highcroft what they were have toined together to make The Blake Schools What we are now caught up in is a change for the better - a constant change which affects the present and future of The Blake Schools. What is The Blake Schools? It is what we all have brought to it; ourselves. It will become what we want it to be: a strong, united institution open to what everyone has in his power to offer.
