In this world allegiance to state and nation is no longer the means for survival, and indeed could lead to self-annihilation. In high schools allegiance to school is still being promoted and is considered important. An integral part of this School Spirit continues to be the cheerleaders. Ours represent a singular kind of School Spirit. They are hardly a mechanical, crack squad. They do not communicate a feeling of look-but-don't touch. Best of all, they are sincere, spontaneous, and not overly serious. In short, they are for-real chicks. And we extend our thanks.
