That was a familiar cry at 'half-time at the football games as our band mothers handed out milk to the home and visiting bands. They were also responsible for the sandwiches and milk served to the football teams, both home team and opponents. Band mothers could always be seen selling pro- grams at the games to make money to sponsor-a dance and banquet for our band members at the end of the year. They also made money to buy uniforms and equipment. We would like to say, Hats off, to our band mothers for a well-done iob. SENIOR OFFICERS: Bill Thompson, VICE-PRESIDENT, Shirley Conway, SECRETARY, Shirley Moreland, TREASURER, Norman Walker, PRESIDENT, Mr. Stahlman, AD- VISOR. Steppdavy fum am 4694 asian! life we . Hail, Blairsville High, Glorious Alma Mater. We, the Senior Class of 1958, will never forget those wonderful words which bring back many memories of the past four years. Remember what wide-eyed, hero-worshipping freshmen we were a few short years ago when we first set foot in B.J.H.S. Under the capable leadership of our class officers and our advisor, Miss Fenlon, we felt our way through our first year of high school. We also recall our first big year as upperclassmen. Under the watchful eyes of Mr. Smakula, our advisor, and Norman Walker, our class president, we held the big events of the sophomore year, the Sophomore Hop, and All Sports Day when we topped the iuniors. All of us will agree that we never would have gotten through our iunior year, without the guidance of Miss Turner, our advisor. With her at the reins we all worked hard to produce the twin highlights of our iunior year which were, Pink Mist, our prom, and The Showcase of '58 our variety show. Then after seemingly no time at all we were seniors and at the climax of our school years. lt was then that time flew the fastest. All through the years, even during the senior play, and the wonderful Senior-Junior Party the strain, loyal friends we met through you, flashed through our heads and our hearts. Although we seniors will go our separate ways, loving memories linger ever, Blairsville High to thee we sing. 'I6
