Mcllllf , n FIRST ROW: Elmer Streams, Paul George, Thomas McClure, Mildred Muir, George Clawson, Albert Thompson, Raymond McElhoes. SECOND ROW: C.R. Heasley, Henry Graff, Lynn Kelly, William Woods, Leslie Neal, William Holby, Harold Gibson. The Board of Education The Board of Education of Blairsville Joint Jr. - Sr. High School is composed of a body of men elected for their civic-mindedness and their unfailing interest in the student body. The competent officers for this year were Mr. Thomas McClure, President, and Mr. Henry Graff, Vice-President. A non-member, Miss Mildred Muir, acts asacapable sec- retary for the group. Meeting the second Monday of every month, the school board decides upon the policies to be adopted in our school and keeps our school efficient with modern supplies and a pro- gressive educational program. One of their many projects this year was the purchase of new fluorescent lights for the Third Ward Building. We, the class of 1955, wish to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to this group of men for all they have done to make our years at Blairsville Joint School happy ones.
