G RTOW The new football Held is one of the many improvements which indicates the progressive educational and social program at Blairsville High School. Any night of the week finds a lively collection of B. H. S. students relaxing in the fam' iliar atmosphere of the Penn Theatre. Brizzi's is marked one of the most popular meeting places of all the teen'agers of Blairsville High School. To the students of B. H. S. Brizzi's will stand out as a memorable background to their high school days.

CHGOL BUARD ir-N .qi First row, left to right: Mr. Herbert Swartz, Miss Mildred Muir, Mr. Dale Piper. Second Row Mr. Charles Heasley, Mr. Paul George, Mr. Tom McClure. The School Board of Blairsville High School is a group of people chosen for their integrity and civicfmindedness. In order to carry out their duties to the utmost, the school board must keep the interests of the students of Blairsville uppermost in their thoughts at all times. Acting as officers, Mr. Dale Piper, served as president with Mr. Charles R. Heasley as vicefpresident. Completing the board are Mr. Paul George, Mr. Thomas McClure, Mr. Herbert E. Swarts, and acting as capable secretary is Mildred Muir, a non-member. Meeting regularly, the second Monday of every month, the school board decides what policies should be employed concerning Blairsville High School, stressing the development of a sound educational prof gram as well as keeping the school modern and eflicient. We, the seniors of the class of 1952, wish to express our appreciation to the board of education for making possible all the advantages we enjoy. QQ--3'
