Robinson How can we seniors ever forget that eventful year of 1940 when we entered Blairsville High as freshmen, and oh, how green and verdant we were! How our faces burned and how hastily we departed when we found ourselves in the wrong rooms, but after the tirst week we began to like it. B-v the end of the term we felt worthy of being called prospective sopho- mores. As sophomores we enjoyed extra-curricular activities and were granted certain privileges. YVe were permitted to elect class otlicers. Dan Hess was elected presidentg Bob Robinson, vice-presidentg Ioan Smith, secretaryg lane Reed, treasurer, and our advisor was Miss Smith. On Nlarch 5 we held our first evening dance, the Sophomore Hop. How grown-up we felt! What vivid memories we have ot' our junior yearl Because Dan had proved his managing ability during our sophomore year, we re- elected him as presidentg Bob Robinson again served as his assistant, Ioan Smith kept the minutes for another year, and Ben Brantlinger KC17Ill1'IIlll't1 on Imlyv ffl OF THE SUNG
