His glasses were perked coyishly on the edge of 'S nose. Aw yes , he said, as he opened the yearbook. I remember them well the young whipper-snappers. Delightful! NANCY HANNIFAN is selling insurance to gym students at Blair during the hockey season. SAM TECHTON, now owner of the largest empire of moc- casins Qsizes up to Jumbo XJ made escpecially for umpa-1oompas . Mr. Beaman rocked back and forth in his rocking chair, tucking his Peanuts blanket around his legs. BARBARA PAYTON yes, saw her last night on television, a news broadcaster for station YUK. And the:-e's Rick Russell, Chief Petty Oficer in the Navy, married to a cute little blonde fnot to mention nine childrenj. I remember JOHN HICKMANg he's in the North Pole now, Head Elf, helping Santa Claus make presents for RICK RUSSELL'S nine chid1ren. PATRICA MEANS, a speech therapist, works in a State Uni- versity in Turkey. Mr. Beaman cackled with laughter, that BRIAN MANLEY now teaches Exploratory German at Blair Junior High School. Now what's-his-name, that boy? Aw yes! ROBBIE MCKOWEN won Erst place in the city's pork and beans eating contest last year. After all these years, DONALD ROBINSON finally got a date with his favorite English teacher. ROBIN WERNER is an actress now in Hollywood. She just star- red in a movie called Capehart Fro1ics . Pointing at a picture, Mr. Beaman laughed again. ALMA BA1LEY'S in Australia teaching kangaroos grace and charm. And SUSAN WILLIAMS is a gym teacher at Blair now, married ll to her teenage sweetheart. Now JACOB GATES makes a lot of money from his plant in Jamaica, but the strange things is, it's all weed! Next month Jacob and DONALD KELLY are starting a partner- ship in Acapulco. BARBARA GILLETTE and FREDDY NAVARRO are now making the movie 'The Reincarnation of Bruce and His Wife . The yearbook, yellowed with age, fell to the floor with a clat- ter. The rocking chair ceased to rock as Mr. Beaman slept easily, snuggled comfortably under his blanket, with happy thoughts of years gone by. 23
