D Grace, K Flynn; Fellowship Brings Athletes Closer The only requirements n e e d e d to join FCA are that you are an athlete of some sort and that you believe in Jesus Christ. That forms quite a bond between many high school athletes. Bill Cemer, Roger Thaden, Tom Macholan, Jay Winslow and Marshall Nelson led the huddle in many special ac- tivities this year. The group sold Halloween candy again this year for its main money making project. They were planning on using the money to help send a few of the huddle to the annual summer camps. They also went caroling Christmas morning. A billboard showing the presence of a huddle in Blair and professing the faith was also planned and designed. Athletic Letters l tuli cate Top B-Club is composed exclusively of Blair High School athletes who have lettered in a sport during the previous year The group is sponsored by the varsity coaches of the sports department. During the year, the club has many fund-raising projects which include the sales of magazines and the selling of soda pop at home athletic games. They also sold tee- shirts showing the class year to make money. Most of the money from the fund-raising activities went to pay for the major event in the B-Club calendar, the spring B-Club dance. President was Bill Cemer and Tim Gross was Vice-President. Tom Macholan served as secretary and Randy Nichelson as Treasurer. Gene Wrich, Don Thompson. Mike Biffar. Jay Winslow. Tom Mencke and Duane Gray ran the B-Club Concession Stand during a home game. The B-Club boasted a huge membership following the end of the athletic season The Coaches were proud of their lettermen representing their Tom Macholan plays answering service for specific sports our star.
