The main project was form- ing a student-faculty-parent senate for the purpose of discussing major issues that con- front the student body and the administration. Another major project endorsed by the council was the construction of a new bicycle rack placed at the main entrance to the school building. The council sponsored many fund raising activities to finance their projects. The officers were: Prudy Nelson, presi- dent; Roger Thaden, vice president; Kaye Gregory, secretary; Debbie Chamberlain, treasurer; Steve Suverkrubbe, parliamen- tarian; and Betsy Anderson, correspondence secretary. Informer Reveals Events Of'71- 72 The Informer, a monthly publication of school activities and special news, boasted another successful year. The top positions were held by. Joanne Hansen, editor; Lynn Johnson, feature editor; Steve Taylor and Joe Blobaum, sports co-editors; Kathy Hine- line, head typist; Dave Johnson and Bill Marquardt, photographers. Mr. Edgell spon- sored the paper this year. The student body looks forward to the appearance of each new issue to see what activities they missed and to read the bits of witticism by the writers of the staff.
