The main activities for the year were pro- viding gifts and food for a chosen family at Christmas, touring a Lincoln hospital, attending films, speeches, and hosting visits from student nurses. Under the leadership of Ron Hindley, president; Roger Mathiesen, vice-presi- dent; Keith Rahlfs, secretary; Rod Jensen, treasurer; Richard Matzen, parliamentari- an; Steve Larsen, sentinel; and Rod Rahlfs, news reporter, the Future Farmers of America strive to create more interest in farming and related occupations which con- tribute to the improvement of agriculture as a vocation. Sponsored by Mr. Diedrichsen, the F.F.A. attended the national convention in Kansas City, Missouri, in October, and participated in the District Dairy Judging Contest held in Blair on March 11. The Future Farmers also held their annual Parent-Son Banquet in April. An F.F.A.'er meets a problem head on.
