The goal of the Tattler staff members was to produce a finer, more original year- book than ever before. They attended work- shops, took many pictures, typed and retyped copy, and worked long hours on the annual. Editor Linda Olson, Associate Editor Cathy Macholan, Copy Editor Sharon Apperson, Lay-out Editor Melissa Christiansen, Photography Editor Margie Leehy, and Business Manager Sharon Nielsen provided stimulating leadership for the staff members. The advice and guidance of the sponsor, Mrs. Wright, was a great help to the group. 22

Bear Tales, Blair's student anthology of prose and poetry, presents the best origi- nal writing done by students during the year. Material is submitted by teachers and stu- dents, reviewed and evaluated by the staff members, and presented to the student body each spring in a sparkling new issue. Joan Hansen, editor; Dennis Johnson, publicity chairman; Debbe Jensen, business manager; and the staff, Anne Wardell, John Nielsen, Gayle Rembold, Jim Bennett, Barbara Christiansen, and Philip Stever put in many long after-school hours, along with their sponsor and advisor, Mr. Gary Barth.
