Tattler Staff Starts Early; Delivers in Spring The 1966 Tattler Staff began even before school started to plan the 1966 annual. Our first concern was to sell subscriptions for the new book. When this was done, photogra- phers Paul Hansen, Danny Watts, and Rusty Triplett started taking pictures while the rest of the staff began work on layouts and copy. New money-making projects for the staff were selling candy and school activities cal- endars. Our goal this year: to make up a year- book that would satisfy our own expectations as well as those of our subscribers. David, Linda, and Kathy plan a page for the annual. ir Board members from left to right are Dr. Milton Olson, P. V. Hansen, Dr. Elmer Rasmussen, Superintendent B. E. Krantz, Keith Vinton, Mrs. Paul Neve, and Emery Nelson. Important Decisions Resolved At Board Meetings The Blair Board of Education kept the Blair City School system running smoothly during the 1965-66 school year. The members of the Board this year were R. Keith Vinton, president; J. Emery Nelson, Vice-president; Dr. Milton Olson; Dr. Elmer Rasmussen; Mrs.Paul Neve; and P.V. Hansen. Mrs. Ruth Taylor served as secretary at the monthly meetings. It is the duty of the Board of Education to make school policies, hire personnel, and provide maintenance equipment and supplies for the school buildings. It is the constant concern of the Board to stretch dollars in order to provide better educational facilities for the city's schools. 6 Mr. Baumert, Mr. Krantz, and Mr. Pace discuss management of the high school.
