Harold and Howard Pedersen were celebrating thelr nlnth weddmg anniversary Janice Fleming who had sung at their wedding, now has a leadlng role ln Faust the latest opera to be pro duced by the Opera Company in New York Four of the local girls seem to be making good in New York They are Norma Christensen head executive for the Fashion Blght Bathing Sult Companv janet 'Nielsen is one of her models Bobble Holt IS also living 1n New York She IS artist for the leading fashion magazine These three girls along with D Arlene Morton who is doing interior decorating share a pent house apartment which they just finished remodeling While talking to D Arlene we learned that Mike Dixon prommate Insurance man IS quite a Romeo in New York lust a continuation of what he did in Blair Gay Lee Petersen and Rhea Whlte are in the new hit play currently runnlng in Broadway ennxlou Nielsen rs teachlng 'llarch school and Shlrley Fryman is teaching Fngllsh at Blair DeWitt She IS teaching Orum school Fred Nelson and Bill Booton went to Africa Blll IS trying to sell shoes to the natives, while Fred is teaching them how to bowl Merna Evans was unable to attend as she went to llawau with her husband Unbelievable but true Bob Vladsen is now on parole In Los Angeles under the guidance of Bob Long 'Vlost of us ate at Sally Nlaxwell s and Betty Kuhr s restuarant lt s one of the largest in Blair During the afternoon 'Vllke Thompson and Darrell Schneekloth had a wreck 'Nhke s little red Ford wasnt hurt a bit but Darrell s big blue Ford was badly damaged They brought his car to the Falrway Gas Station which jim Woodard is now managing Hugh Hunt was unable to attend but he called long distance from Atlanta, Georgla He talked to nearly everyone as he didnt have to pay lt was his own telephone company Hugh sald Llesma Grmbergs who IS teaching English to the Latvlans was sorry she could not attend but she is an emergency appendectomy Don Klng brought his band to Blair from Seattle Washington to play for the dance in the evening Much to our surprise, l elloy Brennfoerder who is playing pro basketball sang several numbers with the band The next momlng before leavmg we drove out to the X 8. L cafe to get gas And who did we see?
