Several convocations have been enjoyed during the year. One of these was arranged from Iunior High talentg the others were hired entertainers. Mr. White trained several contestants for the County Spelling Contest. Mary Louise Moran won first in oral and entered the state contest. A Dramatic Club was organized under the direction of Miss King. The members presented a Christmas program. Mary Louise Moran was elected president. A Folk Dancing Club was organized and directed by Miss McGill. Several dances were studied and learned. The club was handicapped by not being able to secure a suitable room for work. Toward the end of the year Mr. DeGroff began training a Iunior High Boys' Glee Club. Georgia Antill, Elly Marie Larsen, Iulius Peterson, Leora Wrick, and Mary Louise Moran took part in the declamatory contest. None of these placed but were given much encouragement by the judge.
