Food-A Cultural Experience Through the Spanish club. headed by Dr. Battaglia. Hispanic culture was learned and enjoyed by all students. The club discovered the best aspects of Span- ish and Mexican-American life through cultural, historic and gourmet events. Food, being one of the most important and inviting parts of learning the culture, was enjoyed at many of the Mexican res- taurants in Pasadena. A fun time was had by all when the group went to Olvera Street to enjoy the exciting atmosphere of an authentic Mexican street scene.
