Pos- sessing the only campus in the district that is equipped for the physically handi- capped, mainstreaming is a major focus. Students with impaired hearing and vision have their schedules supplemented by teachers who are trained in the specific areas. Speakin L Gur If you are interested in people, one of the most enioyable departments can also be one of the most rewarding. Learning a foreign language is interesting as well as fun. Once learned, it can be of infinite use in understanding and relating to people with whom you otherwise may not have ever been able to. Classes in Chinese, as well as Spanish, are available for those students who have not yet obtained total command of the English language. Another program, though much less in demand, nonetheless. desired, is that of JROTC, Uunior Recruit Officer's Training Corpsj. This group of approximately 30 members meets as a regular class, but may also be found at lunch or after school polishing up their skills.
