Will The 40 Donkey basketball Real Donkey Stand Up? 3 wa I ff' XB 5 Hey there. Hi there. Ho tl1erel This year, the Blair Yearbook roving reporter decid- ed to turn the tables and interview one of the star donkeys in the annual Donkey Basketball game - Gingers Here is a small portion of the interview: Reporter: ln your own words, describe the game for us. Gin- ger: Okay, shortly after we arrived at the school. the team members showed up. The only difference that l could see between us and the players was that they were sitting on top of us. We soon got to know our partners rear. . . oops, l mean real well. We lined up, and then that buzzer rang. We heard the team braying, l mean pray- ing that they would win. The first half went rather slow. One for Blair, One for Muir. and so on and so on. Then all of th sudden, things changed. lt became one fo Blair, two for Muir. l think that when tha started to happen, Ben got a bit excite, all of the sudden, the clean-up crex tore out on the court to clean up the mes he made. Oh, I was so embarrassed fo him. The second half picked up a bit. just bit. More baskets were scored, mor shouting came from the crowd, and ther' were more appearances from the clean-ui crew. Finally, after twelve minutes wer! up. Muir had won, 60-58. What a grea accomplishment for their school! All in al it was a great game. but boy. we werl pooped!
