f 0 JK RUNNER THEIR ARKS! This year track team flourished with talented players. Many new players that joined the team were overwhelmed by the rigorous and stressful workouts. Their hard work and dedication at practices lead them to a successful season. Because of the large quantity of girls, illness and injuries did not harm the team as in prior years. The 440 Relay team, usu- ally the strongest event, consisted of Jac- quelin Williams, Tracey Taylor, Kindra Henderson and Anna Amaral. Tracy Tay- lor and Anna Amaral made spectacular wins in the hurdles and sprints. Seniors Karen Baldeschwieler and Katya Armis- tead showed their endurance in the dis- tance events giving the team an extra edge.
