Did Someone Say They Just Shot A Birdie ?! This new club teed off under the direc- tion of Mr. Charles Lamb. The students who joined were taught step-by-step, from the tee to the green, the not-so-sim- ple game of golf. The most thrilling and rewarding activi- ties for the club were golf tournaments at various courses in the area, including the Eaton Canyon Golf Course, These were very successful, and through the exper- ience of playing at different places and in competition with others, they gained con- fidence and excitement from an other- wise dull game, Through the success of this year, the club is destined to go many more rounds at Blair. Pride Of The Latinos Though the Latino American Student Association began over ten years ago, it is still a very influential and active part of the school. The club's main purpose is to help members unite and share cultural heritage. L.A.S.A. organized several ac- tivities this year that were held with great success. These events included the L.A.S.A. Homecoming Dance, a very wet carwash and a delicious candied apple sale. These activities allowed the club to raise enough money for their Graduation Ball. Once again, Mr. Ibarra, the advisor, with the help of every member of the club made this year's long efforts result in the unification of the Latin Americans at Blair.
