This year, the Blair Yearbook roving reporter decid- ed to turn the tables and interview one of the star donkeys in the annual Donkey Basketball game - Ginger. Here is a small portion of the interview: Reporter: In your own words, describe the game for us. Gin- ger: Okay, shortly after we arrived at the school, the team members showed up. The only difference that I could see between us and the players was that they were sitting on top of us. We soon got to know our partners rear. . . oops, I mean real well. We lined up, and then that buzzer rang, We heard the team braying, I mean pray- ing that they would win. The first half went rather slow. One for Blair, One for Muir, and so on and so on. Then all of the sudden, things changed. It became one for Blair, two for Muir. I think that when that started to happen, Ben got a bit excited all of the sudden, the clean-up crew tore out on the court to clean up the mess he made. Oh, I was so embarrassed for him. The second half picked up a bit, just a bit. More baskets were scored, more shouting came from the crowd, and there were more appearances from the clean-up crew. Finally, after twelve minutes were up, Muir had won, 60-58. What a great accomplishment for their school! All in all. it was a great game, but boy, we were pooped!
