Pos- sessing the only campus in the district that is equipped for the physically handi- capped, mainstreaming is a major focus. Students with impaired hearing and vision have their schedules supplemented by teachers who are trained in the specific areas. u i ings Through the years, the music and dra- ma departments have slowly deteriorat- ed. This situation does in no way reflect the dedication of the teachers. Though evolving slowly, but now apparent, the lack of participation by the student body has taken its toll on the department. Mr. Abdoo is the third band director to come to Blair in the past three years. His Last year, thirty-eight seniors graduat- ed from Mr. Coday's choir and drama classes. This sudden depletion produced a discouraging effect at the beginning of the year, but it was quickly overcome by successful performances. Revisions in tra- ditional ideas were made to compensate for the size and newness of the groups.
