M'x it up P ss it u ean it up What would our school be without cus- todians? The custodial staff keeps our school functioning safely, properly, and neatly. This small group of dedicated men are always on call to tend to any emergen- cy that may pop up. Due to them our class- rooms are cleaned, our campus is kept tidy, and our plants and gardens are kept up. We benefit from them a great deal, yet their efforts usually go unnoticed. We would now like to say THANK YOU to our -Jw:-' custodian staff. In addition to the custodians, the cafe- teria workers have a maior job of impor- tance. Alone they manage and operate the cafeteria and canteen. Everything from the preparation of the food to cleaning duties is done by our foods and services staff. So next time you dig your teeth into a burrito or stand in the combo line think of the staff that makes it all possible! dlmllliirialfrr Above: The Fabulous Food Friends Right: The custo- dians are WANTED and needed at Blair Bottom: This Buds for you. dance program was still in training. ln addition to the hassles. duties were divided by percentage. Members of the group would work attendance. switch- board, and any odd jobs that needed to be done. At other times, they were sent to the counselors' and deans' offices. This separation of duties made work very tedious for our secretaries, but through the diligency and dedication of our surviving warriors. our campus ran smoothly. i1idii'i61i s .fn .,, , I .7-. earnin Fir t H nd lf you've ever felt disillusioned with classes. noticing no immediate effects other than a swollen brain, you might try the Business Department. Many students have entered the business world after graduation as a result of the excellent business program here at Blair. The overall opinion about Blair's Busi- ness Department is that it is very effec- tive in preparing students for future ca- reers. Business teachers who were deter- mined to prepare students fully for careers in business set high goals for their students. Home economics teaches as much to students as English, Math. or History. Rather than gaining knowledge from a book, these classes are basically hands-on learning experiences. Of the courses of- fered. Foods, Sewing, and Early Childhood Education are the most popular. So. if you've ever had a cake fall, or sewn a zip- per in backwards, or just can't seem to understand kids, let the experts in the Home economics department make your life easier! iiii6diiiiiii 'n :fi fx rfb X 93 Q l Q f '5?'5jex in vw:-2' .f '5 fl: 1 . .3 ',,,.f,Q, gig-, X f E9 x XX' i 'L' -.,,. -.
