CLASS POEM Lois Johnson has little to say, Slaving with shorthand from day to day. Beware of Knute, he's taking debate! If he lost a fight, it would be fate. Ruby K. to us seems quiet and shy, But how does she act with the Galesvllle guy? Joan Lynghammer is an ex-Logan fan. It doesn't seem she's quite picked her man. Dale ls number one in Mary Anne' heart His car has certainly done its part! Nels is our cheerleader, and they say, She gets letters from down Madison way. Paul Ofsdahl, lt seems, likes to dance, And does so whenever he has th8 chance. Donna's taxi is always at the door, But we mean 'Tubby' and no more-- Joan Oppegaard seems to get around, In a green convertible, with the top down? And Wayne has Navy on his mind, But he still has time for Lois, we find! Janice Peterson has a steady! A guy who drives a big, black Chevle. Aldred Sexe has little to say, We wonder 'A1', are you always that way? Bud is one of our 'F1ght1n f1ve', He knows his stuff, and that's no lie! And Strand's another, hs's good too! He's rated as one of those popular few. Doris sews and cooks, we hear, But still finds time for 'Twes' to appear. Dick Verenkamps' favorite eport is bowling. He really sends that ball a-rolling. And now we're through, 1t's said and done. We know we'll miss UDCD when they're gone. But we wlsh them luck, the best of lt, And hope they do as they see fit! Z1

CLASS POEM And so another school term is done, Let's look over our seniors one by one. They'll be gone but not forgotten--so Let's tell a few tales before they go. Beatrice Anderson we'll never forget, Over a certain 'Babe' she's known to fret. And Stub, our shorty on the team, At love he's really on the beam! Janice Berg is really 'hep', At a dance 8hB'8 full of pep. And Borreeon is the freshman girls idol, As a boxer he has gained quite a title. Now Mary Ann's noted for debate. With Dale only does she dats. De Husson's recognized by his car. It may be old, but 1t's carried him far! Agg1e's from Ettrlck, and so we hear-- A guy with a 'Chevle' is pretty dear. Anna E. is everyones' pal, She'e more than tops in basketball. Joan Freder1xon's another we'll never forget. Is it Sunny, Pete, or Pat? Decided yet? Elmer is Blair Highs' 'King of Swlng', He really makes that piano sing! We wonder why Mavis likes Taylor so well? Could someone tall, dark, and handsome tell? Lois Claire, little but oh my! Wayne fell hard and we see why. Helen is outwardly quiet it seems, But when out of school, she really steams! Eva Jane's in a state of confusion We wonder lf she'll ever PBHOR a conclusion? Merlin Helstad's quite a guy! He likes Galesvllle, we wonder why? Orland Hermanson, quiet and free, Enjoys the farm in Welch Coulee. Roger Herr1ed's tops in Basketball, But we wonder 'Flash', is that all? Pat Hoganson is known by all, Q53 of her loves ls basketball. Z0
