The Key Club, currently a member of the Dis- trict Club and Key Club International, aims to develop leadership, useful citizenship, and promote higher stun- dards in scholarship, sportsmanship, and social contacts. Among the projects they are involved with are helping with the Kiwanis Band Day, Save the Children drive and school service activities. President - C. Rascoeg Vive President - M. Keyettes The Junior Women's Club of Williamsburg sponsors the Keyettes of James Blair which is a service organization beneficial to the school and community. The objectives of the clubs are to develop initiative and leadership, to pro- vide experiences in cooperative service and to prepare for useful citizenship. The Keyettes assist the school and the community in such projects as participating in the beautification plan at James Blair, assisting with the fund drives and providing assist- ance to the staff at Eastern State. Innovations such as an editoral col- umn which successfully motivated student response, and an ex- panded feature section made the 1971-1972 Blarion the better known half of the news media.
