Monogram Club Right to Left, OFFICERS: Albert Douglas - President, Carolyn Hyle- mon - Vice President, Sandy Smith - Secretary, Louise Timberlake - Treasurer. The Monogram Club of James Blair is made up of people who have received their letters in sports activities. This is one of the most active clubs in school. During the first part of the year it sponsors a banquet for new members of the club and it is in charge of the Football Festi- val and the Homecoming Parade. Throughout the year it is in charge of the concession stands at the games. In the middle of the year they help to sponsor the March of Dimes. At the end of the school year the Monogram Club awards trophies to the best players in the various sports carried on by the school.

Uur Library MRS. CARTER, Librarian. Library Assistants James Blair is fortunate in having its fine library. lt is one of the few schools in the state to possess a reference room well equipped for reading and study. Teachers may bring groups there for special instruction and research. Several groups of visitors, touring the school, have commented on the beauty and efficiency of the library. One reason for this efficiency lies in the services of a group of xclunteer workers. Trained by Mrs. Carter, they assist students in the proper use ofthe library and help the librarian in keeping records. Library reference room Library assistants help at the check -out desk.
