They carry on many worthwhile projects for the benefit of their respective groups. Their main function is to discuss problems facing either the girls or the boys and solving them. The officers are elected by the separate groups. Two girls are elected by the girls in each class and two boys are elected by the boys in each class. The councils meet separately every Thursday.
