Two girls and three boys from James Blair traveled to Blacksburg, Virgi- nia where they met students from other schools in Virginia. They set up miniature governments with elected officials. They learned more about govern- ing so that they would be able to take back to their schools better ways of executing their student govem- ITICHIS. 1 l

I Sponsor MISS GENELLE CALDWELL The National Honor Society is given no special jobs. The members decide each year what their projects will be. It has been the custom during re- cent years for the members to tutor students who need help with their studies. This was continued this year. The members of the Honor Society are selected by the faculty on the basis of their character, schol- arship, leadership, and service.
