BASEBALL TOP ROW: Coach, Mr. Eastman, Dan Speers, Harvey Ives, Gary Fayette, Peter Svedin, Steve Jones, Lowell Clark, Manager, Ken Irwin. BOTTOM ROW: Kevin Varness, Bill Dodd, James Clausen, Albert Jones, Steve Sanders, Kim Macrae, Jan Ahlin, Don Schmidt, Richard Watkins. This year's team consisted mainly of sophomores, to be exact there were eleven out of sixteen. The others consisted of two seniors and three juniors. Harvey Ives played second base, Dan Speers played center field, James Clausen was the first string pitcher, and fill in at first base. Bill Dodd was third base, Pete Svedin played out-field and also filled in as a back up catcher. For the sophomores, Steve Sanders pitched and played short stop, Albert Jones played short stop, Kem McRae was short stop and second base, Jan Ahlin was first base, John Horgdal was catcher, Kevin Varness, outfield, Richard Watkins at short stop and second base, Steve Jones played in the out field, Don Schmidt also played outfield plus first base, Lowell Clark, outfield and Gary Fayette outfield.
