Student Recocgnifzbn f at 1 Girls' State Boys' State This year's delegates to the 68 session of Girls' State This year's delegates to the 68 session of Boys' State were Darlene Hollinger and Sheryl Green. Girls' State were Scott Dohner and Gary Ham, Boys' State was held was held in Ellensburg, Washington, where the girls at Gonzaga University, and the boys had a chance to set learned about the different aspects of government organ- up and run their own city state and country governments. Correspondent Sheryl Green served as correspondent and was responsible for writing the Border-write column for the Blaine Journal and the Bellingham Herald that appeared each week, She presented the school events as they occurred and informed the commun- ity of coming school activ- ities. D. A. R. Micaela Elliott was selected as the daughters of the American Revolu- tion delegate this year. Micaela was nominated by the Senior Class, and chosen by the members of the faculty. She was se- lected for her service to her country, school, and home, Waskowitz Rick Kendall attended Waskowitz, a student leadership conference at North Bend, Washington for various student leaders throughout the state.
