Debate Debate club attempts to give the students of Blaine High School an opportunity through organized discussion to voice their opinions on various issues of interest to the the American. This year the Debate team participated in various activities and were quite an accomplished group. The Blaine Chapter of the Future Homemakers of America have been very active this past year. A slumber party, annual Christmas dance, benefit dinner for the Cancer Foundation, bakesales and hot dog sales kept everyone busy during the year. Diane Durnan and Micaela Elliott served as del- egates to the State Convention this year. Mrs. Syverson, advisor, did a fine job of, helping the girls carry out their goals to improve personal, family and community living through various ob- jectives by group projects.

Camera Club The Camera Club under the supervision of Mr. Syverson learned many of the techniques of the darkroom. Next year they hope to put this knowledge to use by helping the annual staff with pictures for the annual. This year lVIicaela and Trish took many of the pictures for the snapshot pages. Safety Committee The safety committee sets up the rules and regulation for the registering and park- ing of cars driven by the students and faculty during school hours. They also help to park cars at all games.
