Seniors Lead The Way When we began our Sophomore year it seemed an eternity until we would be seniors. Now we actually realize how quickly those three years go by: but many treasured memories from our high school days will remain with us, Under the leadership of President Loren Loop, Vice President Rick Wear, Secretary Linda Church, and Treas- urer Carol Waters the class sponsored two dances, one of which we called Sophomore Feet Beat. Gordon Stewart and Guy Ewing were Student Council Representatives. The Junior year was dominated by three big projects, which kept us busy throughout the year. The first project of the year was our dinner held on Oct, 14th, which was a big success, In November the Junior Class Play was presented. This year we had three one-act plays. On April 7th the Junior Prom, with the theme Moonlight and Roses was ruled over by Queen Dawn Levien and King Rick Wear. Class officers for the year were: President Linda Eldridge, Vice Pres. Gary Bensen, and Secretary-Treasurer Colleen Bonallo. Representatives to Student Council were Gordon Stewart and Rick Wear. During the summer of 1967 several class members represented our school at leadership conferences. They were: Linda Church and Michele Joubert, Girls' State, Gordon Stewart and Rick Wear, Boys' State, John Kaufman, Seabeek, and Lynda Kimball, Waskowitz. As Seniors there were many privileges, responsibilities and activities. We elected Gordon Stewart as our Senior Class President, Dean Forsythe as Vice Pres. 5 Muriel Ferguson as Secretary and Nancy Klcy as Treasurer. Our A,S.B. officers were: President John Kaufman, Vice Pres. Rick Wear, Secretary Lynda Kimball, Treasurer Linda Church, Business Manager Muriel Ferguson, Annual Editor Michele Joubert, Borderite Flash Editor Charles Ewing. Representing us for the past three years were Cheerleaders Linda Eldridge and Jennie Berg and Majorette Jo Ann Dunkin. Serving as Cheerleaders in our Senior year were Carol Waters and Shirley Burling and as Song- leaders, Marilee Frick, Sharon Burling, Linda Church and Kerry Nunamaker, and as Majorette Michele Joubert. Our Senior Class projects included: a play, dinner and a dance. Pillow Talk was presented Dec. 8th 81 9th. The dinner was held on Dec. 15th and was a big success. The Senior Cruise, two class plays, the prom, and all other important events will always be fond memories. THIS PAGE SPONSORED BY BLAINE JOURNAL
