Once in school we experienced the suspense of each announcement as it might call for early- dismissal. We sat in Class impatiently listening to rumors about what was supposedly going on. FIRSt place Eon Junlons Mike Elliott and David Rakes were awarded Best Directors for their joint efforts in making the Jr. One-Act Play, HBy The Waters of Babylon, successful. It was, indeed, a success and was honored as Best One-Act Play. David Schroeder, the lead of the play, held the title of Runner-up Actor. The Sr. One-Act Play, I'lmpromptuf unfolded the talents of John Lipscomb, awarded Best Actor for the second year in a row, Bonnie Welch as Best Actress, and Jeanette McCardell as Runner-up Actress. Sophomore John Pepper, in his first dramatic performance in l'An Over-praised Season, was the happy and surprised recipient of the Best-Supporting Actor award. t .....,M,W.,t on 22 Student Life
