Following tradition, the halls were decorated by the three classes. Students voted for Football Superlatives and played Say the Word contest. On Maroon and White Day many students and teachers wore the school colors throughout the day. A Pep Rally to cheer the Mustangs on to a Homecoming Victory ended school e time activities. Spirit week was climaxed by the Homecoming Dance Friday and by the game Saturday. Underseasi' was the theme of this years dance. The girl's gym, decorated in blues and greens, set the mood for a very memorable occasion. The 1974 Homecoming Court was presented and Karen Jefferies, the 1973 Homecoming Queen, joined them.
