ti t in Retrospect .. in can Old City A City of meaning and of truth, a living and breathing example of the makings of America, is a proud place to situate a school-a school in which twenty-three hund- red students are working, building, and expanding in knowledge and maturity. A school in which students are following their forefathers in an attempt to create out of their own wilderness a citizen as stalwart as the city of Bladensburg. Using essentially the same materials used by the founders of Bladensburg, the students set out to accomplish their goal, Throughout their years at Bladens- burg they grow and develop in character and skill. Where in the city of Bladensburg is found richly ma- ture buildings, in Bladensburg High School is found new- ly mature citizens. Both built from courage, truth, labor, and the ability to look toward the future while not for- getting the past. The Blade has endeavored to show this year's contri- bution to the never-ending efforts that go into building citizens capable of carrying on and furthering the rich heritage of the city of Bladensburg.
