Throughout the halls at BHS, interesting conversations beginning with Guten tage, punctuated at odd times with si si and ad sum and ending with bien, au revoir could be heard this year. These linguistic gems and many more plus instruc- tion in the reading, writing and translating of foreign tongues were offered by the Language Department. Classes in the modern languages: Spanish, French and German and in the classical languages, Latin, were available to Sophomores, juniors and Seniors.
