It is one of the high spots of our campus. KITCHIN and A. HARRELSON The Blackstone High School Ram‘s dropped their second straight game the Victoria Panthers 26-0. Since winning their first two games impressive scores the Rams have hit a trail of hard luck as in- ries have been cropping up regularly and at this time it looks as ough first string guards Irby and Elmore will be lost for the season. : In their season opener under the lights at Wrigglesworth stadium the ims picked on a weak Amelia eleven to the tune of 46-0. The visitors, mally in the six man football bracket, were completely outclassed as e Rams rolled up 16 first downs to 3 for Amelia. Perhaps the most nsational single play by the Red and White was Don Clarke’s 40 yard int return. The committee ran ito a few difficulties in the matter f choosing a good play. Almost all f the ones of a high calibre which he committee had access to, had ery few characters. It’is the cus- om to give one with a large cast. jut with the aid of Mrs. Jordan, he committee finally chose “The mportance of Being Earnest” by Yscar Wilde. ' In the play the author does much © make fun of the English aristo- wracy of the 1890's, At times the story becomes very complicated but auilarious.
